GnatGoSplat Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Yeah, for the 1.5-gen body style previous to that one. Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 I thought one of the early years of those got those wheels Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Yep, you're right, plenty of that body style MC on Google Images have those wheels too, so I think those are probably the right factory wheels for it. Looks like 98-05 MC could get them as well as 99-05 Impala. http://midvale-utah.olx.com/blue-2005-chevrolet-monte-carlo-ls-dealer-midvale-iid-340352759 Quote
Euro Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 They are 00-05 wheels. The 1.5 Gen wheel like this in 98-99 were slightly different Quote
jman093 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I think those are stock Intrepid wheels? Quote
Imp558 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I don't think they're intrepid wheels but they're close. They sure are ugly with that black center, a coat of paint or something would make them suck far less Quote
Imp558 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Am I doing this right? Wow! I just saw this and shamefully I like the idea a bit. Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 .......... i thought berettas used a different bolt pattern, but i could be wrong. then again, i think they also came on a U-van? Quote
Nas Escobar Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 .......... i thought berettas used a different bolt pattern, but i could be wrong. then again, i think they also came on a U-van? They do... and they're not W's either lol They're L bodies which defeats this thread but all smartass remarks aside, the Beretta used the same bolt pattern as the Cavalier; 5x100. What car did those wheels come off of? Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 turns out the 1st gen U-bodies use the 5X115 pattern that the W-bodies have, so it looks like they were swiped from there. Quote
Nas Escobar Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 WOW, I would have never guessed that was a Van rim. Sure doesn't look like it. The guy might be running adapters, or he might have swapped a 97-05 N body suspension/hubs. I know some J body guys get the IRS from a Grand Am or Alero. Quote
94 olds vert Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 When I was a kid I thought those vans were coolest things ever. Man was I ever wrong. Now if you dont have a TV in your family van your undiagnosed ADD child will have a fit. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 I do love my Dustbuster...WHy I finally drove it for the first time in 2 weeks today... Quote
ManicMechanic Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 And those Beretta wheels are stock. They are 16s while the vans were 15s. Quote
tornado_735 Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 .......... i thought berettas used a different bolt pattern, but i could be wrong. then again, i think they also came on a U-van? Mother of all that is holy, that's HOT. Quote
Imp558 Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 Yeah, I like the look of those wheels on that car, nice Quote
Nas Escobar Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 And those Beretta wheels are stock. They are 16s while the vans were 15s. Well then... I guess this car is rightly wheeled! Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 Here they are! U-body indeed i'm trying to figure out why you posted the exact same picture as me, turns out i fubar'd the link. Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 BTW: 16" wheels on the L/N cars look gigantic. Quote
