AWeb80 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Where Can I Get One? I Have A Local Gen2 Gp Guy Who Rebuilt His 65-e 30K Miles Ago And Still Going Strong. He Offered To Do Mine For A Great Price If I Could Find A Rebuild Kit. Quote
oldscsc Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I don't know about any of these websites, they were just results in a Google search. http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/4T60E_transmission_rebuild_kits_s/6342.htm http://www.autorepairmanuals.biz/site/573683/page/809020 Quote
AWeb80 Posted December 7, 2008 Author Report Posted December 7, 2008 not bad....I'll keep looking to see what else is out there Quote
slick Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Adam, I don't remember where it was, but I remember seeing a website, a few years ago, that pretty much sold every part internally for the 4t60e, including a shift kit, and a complete rebuild kit. I can't find it anymore, but maybe someone on here can point you in the right direction. Considered an LSD while you have it apart? IIRC, there's a few 4t60e guys out there running one with good results. Quote

It all depends on price...I'm not looking for anything tooooo spectacular on the build...just so it'll last another ~30k miles is all I want. I've only put 25k on in the last 5 yrs anyways.... Quote
