Fuel hose

Ok so i'm out here trying to change my fuel pump and the hoses are siezed to the tank and to the filler both lines. Can I just cut them and put any hose in there place or do i need to try and free them and if i have to how would i go about doing that.

I would try and free them. And you cant use just any hose. Atleast this is what I was told when my car was in the shop getting crap replaced.

well usually if the lines are seized into the plastic hoses they will break before they come out, Once the o ring comes out your screwed.I would replace the lines from the tank to the steel lines

Well still stuck at the same point...no one where i live will sell me the hose I need, but i can get it from rockauto. What size is the hose coming from the fuel filler to the tank and the vent hose that runs along side it. I'm tired of trying to free it i'm just going to cut it and call it a day. But would like to know if anyone knew the sizes before i went out and tried climbing under the car.

well i dont know if this helps but i will try

fuel lines as follows

pressure 3/8

return 5/16

vent 1/4

filler tube as follows. I may be wrong on these 2 but i am pretty sure thats what mine was

filler 1"

vent 1/2 inch
