Good Opinions On My Tranny

So as the car sits for winter im saving cash to get a vs cam, ssac headers and the parts for the top swap. My question is will my 4t65e be able to hold up to those mods?? i never have and never will do massive burnouts with it or anything too crazy like that. im talkin occasional WOT and not piss pounding it too much. car has 54k on it and new dexron vi fluid in it.

should be fine as long as you dont do the burnouts. but at that point i would look at converting your trans to a HD anyway. its not too expensive.

yea id prolly do that upgrade down the road maybe a few months after the mods.

Why SSAC headers? I haven't heard many good things on those cheap ebay headers. Your trans should hold out ok. Just no burnouts lol!

the local ppl around here say there actually really good headers for the price. my boy dave petenelli is whos helpin with the build has em on 12sec gp.

oooh I just read that they just updated them. The first run of them were horrible, the 2nd run ones seem to be better!
