95RagTopCutty Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Anyone know how to fix door dings? Or atleast give me some pointers on how to do it myself. My buddy told me to use a plunger. Quote
Night Fury Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Do not use a plunger. It will ruin your clear, let alone actually work. Quote
bdyman Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 now i have seen it all......lol!!!, pdr=paintless dent repair, if there to deep then they have to be fixed the other way Quote
3pt1lumina Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Don't use a plunger...it doesn't work and it will wreck the paint. At work, there is a guy that does Paintless Dent Removal. He does a nice job. When I got my 96 and 97, he did them both for me and they look amazing. And lucky enough, since then I have only gotten 1 ding on each car...pretty good for everyday usage on the 96. My advice, if the car is halfway decent in terms of body and paint, have them done by a professional. It's worth the money IMO. Quote
jake91 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 there was a paintless dent removal kit at autozone for like 25 bucks Quote

tdvs Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 I finally had 6 dents removed last week. One pretty bad one in the right door that's bugged me since I bought the car in the spring by PDR. Excellent work. Totally satisfied. $200. Tom Quote
