dodgethis
Hey anyone got a site about replacing shoes on drums? I am going to attempt it but would love some pictures. 98 lumina
1990lumina
Do one side at a time - that way if you forget how it goes back together you have a reference. I just use a pair of side cutters and needlenosed vise grips (or a pair of small regular vise grips). Lots of people used special tools but I've never owned them and can do them just as fast without. Dunno if the W body drums has holes threaded in them so you can press the drum off if it is stuck. If they don't spray the area around the hub with penetrant and beat the shit out of it with a ball peen hammer.
Night Fury
My first 'major' car work was on drum brakes in my 6000! I <3 that memory.
