1990lumina Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 It takes one wire with a 12volt source. The solenoid grounds itself through it's body to the trunk lid. AL Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 I am not sure about the wiring as the one I have, the wires were cut... But when they install the alarm, they will also need to install a keyless receiver and the trunk release will have to be wiring from that somehow also.
