Fleeingpepper
Soo my car got its windows blacked out with shoe polish (funny prank guys..). And the last time it happened I used a scraper and wiped the rest off with alcohol or seafoam. And it SUCKED! What are the best/easiest ways to get rid of it? AL
solution: new friends!
oldscsc
How long has it been on there? I got it off after two weeks (not my vehicle) with a wet paper towel and elbow grease. That is the only method I've tried so I can't recommend anything else.
runt
First: Kill the friends that did this to you. It's not a prank when someone messes with your car. Second: I'd go with maybe Goo Gone which is a citrus cleaner.
Fleeingpepper
Yeah I'm pretty pretty pissed about it, but nobody's said anything about it. Sooo..if I ever do find out they're dead. They got a little on my new top that I just paid $1000 for! acetone? Lacquer thinner? Acetone! Of course! How did I not think of that? pontiacmaniac94
always attack it with a razor blade or two, that will work, just make sure you have a bunch of em, because the blades go dull pretty quickly.
5speedz34
I've never ever heard of this prank.
Fleeingpepper
Well the seafoam worked better than the nail polish remover (acetone). I'm using seafoam deep creep so it's a nice spray can too! If any of you need to get it off scrape, spray, wipe, scrape what can't wipe off. Now any ideas of how to get that crap off of a convertible top!? There's not much, but they got a little on there.
