Just started:

Finished the driver's side tonight, gonna go at it with some finer grit again though, then do the other side, and finally polish and wax them both.

Mine needs to be redone again to smooth it out, I half assed it in the dark. I will update my post when I do it right, with progress pics, and finished.

To get NEW looking lights if they look really bad now:

Get some different types of sand paper (~800grit, 1000 grit, 1500 grit)

Wetsand the lens 3-5 times with each grit(pending how ocd/anal you are)

Rub it out with some rubbing compound a couple times

Rattle can it 2-3 times with gloss clearcoat

Wax it

Done.

Its not all about how it looks. With the clearer lens, much better lighting at night.

i know the drivers light is half as bright as the passenger light

buy a new headlight assem. no work, perfect results, worth the extra $. depending on the car they can be as low as 40 bucks on ebay.

If that is your cup of tea, fine but I can't blow $80 on something that I can do for free, I just can't justify it. If you want to persuade me to think your way, paypal $80 to darkandroid1234@gmail.com.
