spiderw31
whatever you do stay away from the Perfection Zoom clutches. Io have one in my z right now and I hate it! it slips way too easy! I'll second that... I had one in my old Fiero and it slipped pretty easy too. Didn't think to ask myself if it was the brand, I just figured it had gotten oil on it or something. But since you mention it, it was a perfection clutch, and it did slip pretty easy. I've put that car through some hell too, it should be toasted already, but 3.1 and 3.4 are quite different, you're talking 150 hp vs. 210. We put a Perfection in my cousin's 85 F150 stright six truck he got for $150, he's overloaded the piss outa that truck, and will pull anything behind it, hasn't had trouble with his either, but they are cheap, I've probably been lucky. w-bodys_are_the_best
Here's advance auto's price on that same clutch, I take it that it's probably a nice clutch for what advance is selling them for. Part No. 0616062 Beck/Arnley Clutch Set: New; Domestic Clutch Set: 246mm Diameter; 9-3/4" Diameter; 23 Splines; 1 Per Vehicle Warranty: Limited 1 Year* Ships in 2 days $739.
AL
so far rockauto has the best deal.
w-bodys_are_the_best
I've had great luck with them too, they also have a warehouse 25 miles from me, so I get it next day usually. I ordered new KYB GR2 stuts, shocks and mounts for all 4 corners on my Z24, and probably saved $200-300 by buying from rockauto. Even without that closeout deal, their regular price on that beck/arnley clutch is $188 cheaper than Advance. On onother note, make sure and order it early, most parts stores I called on didn't even stock it in their warehouse, I'm sure they don't sell too many clutches for 284's
