gmrulz4u Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Sean mentioned that he believed the only update ever done to the 2.8L Cutlass Supreme EPROM was because of false fuel ecomony readings by the optional DIC. Alldata says these were the updates: 89T49A6E APR 90 PROM - Occasional Engine Stalling 89T1399H SEP 89 PROM - Inaccurate Fuel Economy Reading 446501 OCT 94 PROM/MEMCAL - Identification Marks Does this seem right? THANKS:) Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 89T1399H SEP 89 PROM - Inaccurate Fuel Economy Reading The one quoted above is the TSB about the updated chip for '89. If you don't have the trip computer, you won't benefit from it. BTW, I don't spell my name "Sean"! Quote
gmrulz4u Posted October 18, 2002 Author Report Posted October 18, 2002 Sorry Sean:) It's because most Shawn's I know spell it Sean. How can you ever forgive me Shawn... Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Sorry Sean:) It's because most Shawn's I know spell it Sean. How can you ever forgive me Shawn... Well those Sean's are just not right. :gone2far: By English grammar, "Sean" should be pronounced like "Bean" and "Mean". When I was in elementary, I really thought that's how it was pronounced too! I'll try to forgive you, but it'll be a struggle! Everyone misspells my first name, AND last name. I get people spelling my last name Lynn, Lyn, and Linn, but they almost never hit the right spelling, Lin. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Shaun Lyn Hahah, I think that's what it says on my voter registration card. Quote
