CutLoose
I did a search on this, didn't find anything. Anytime the fan is on, in any vent mode the compressor runs. What's up with this bullshit? No way provided to ventilate the car without wasting gas and power? What have you guys done about this? CutLoose
not on the way to work at 7 am and its 30 out. Now that that's out of the way.....Anyone else?
1990lumina
The HVAC control is probbaly fucked. The compressor should only run in A/C mode, and defrost, Bi-level and mix settings.
carkhz316
Don't discount the, though unlikely, possibility that a relay could be stuck; or a short to power somewhere. Though unlikely, it's not impossible.
GP1138
Is this Electronic Climate Control or non-ECC?
Crazy K
Is this Electronic Climate Control or non-ECC? x2 the ECC is annoying in that the AC is on at all times pretty much... if the thing is set to any setting with the temperature below the outside temp or if the defrost is on. I intend to modify my cars to have an AC disable switch.
