You're using too heavy grit of sandpaper if it is scratching..

Ya I would just use the steel wool. Looks good though.

i would like to but how would you do that, and wouldnt there be a discoloration there after 14 years of being on the car

Let the car sit in the sun and heat the sticker up with a hair dryer. Peel away! Use some 3M adhesive remover to get the goop off, and buff and rewax.

 

There might be some discoloration but it depends on the car.

removed and dont mind the wax stuck to the car im in the process of cleaning it

does anyone know how to take off exhaust tips on a 96 GP coupe? any bolts I have to take off or anything? I'd like to polish mine too. :cool:

thats what i did is just layed down on the ground and cleaned them on the car
