I (like Hippie) have been into various makes of cars for over 30 years.....part of the *joy* of the hobby is making things *fit* where they're not supposed to fit. However those of you who look for *bolt-in* solutions shouldn't look down on us oldies with differing experiences....It would be nice for all of us to progress together and not put *anyone* down because they didn't do it a *certain* way....Thanks for letting me vent.....and BTW Hippie....post your pictures here so we can all share if you have that in your plans.

Hey Sam, welcome aboard. Maybe we should start a W-body forum for the "over the hill" gang and call it the "W Bench" like in the loooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg version of "Alice's Restaurant".

Yes, once I locate a body and work commences there will be lots of photos and "8 X 10 colored glossies with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back". 8)

I'm going tomorrow to look at a Euro Coupe and a wrecked Z34, if the price is right I may bring both of them home.

The Aurora V8 WILL fit in a W-body. It just requires a little creative modification. :D Like removal of ABS...relocation of the battery...things like that.

Even the Northstar V8 will fit a gen 2 W-body, and I don't think you have to remove the ABS or relocate the battery either.

It's the gen 1's that don't have enough room firewall side.

Now find me a pic of one of these monsters in a gen 1 W-body!!!

When I was talking about ABS and battery re-location...I was talking about the gen 1 w-body  It would fit...I didn't say it would be easy, and it would require some fabrication...but it would fit :)

Well, that pic was of a gen 2 W-body (OSV Intrigue).

I don't think it's a matter of ABS, that's on the other side of the engine. I'm pretty sure there's just no room at the firewall, so no way to make it fit short of moving the firewall back a couple inches and modifying the dash to accommodate.
