so i got a TB off of a 97 Montana, it is has a heater hose running through the bottom....but mine doesnt have one currently. the TB on my gp doesnt have that, so will it still work? or does it need to have the hose working? i dont want to pull it all off, and not have it work for me.

thanks!

All that does is heat the throttle body to keep it from freezing in winter time and having the throttle stick open on the highway, etc..you don't really need to connect that coolant line up.

Yeah I just put a 3400 TB on my Cutlass and just left the pipes unconnected although I should cap them so nothing gets inside my intake.

You??? I dont remember you installing a 3400TB

And yes, they dont need to be connected, hell, they dont even have to be capped at all

Oh, BTW, got the payment, thanks!! And I hope it doesnt blow coolant again, otherwise I will have to do it for free :willynilly: I will kill felpro if it does though

Yeah, like everyone else said, just let it hang. You could chop them off too if you wish.

Just double check that your old throttle body has the same IAC air "port" as the 3400 one you grabbed. Some of them (newer, like '00+) need to have the IAC air passage opened up to work with your manifold.

Right its a 52mm v a 56mm. thats all thats differnt about the two. Besides for the linkages.

yah, pretty much, and all i will have to do is swap the linkages over, which will take like 5 minutes, so not too painful. i just wanted to make sure before i started ripping it apart....
