Andrew
i just snugged mine down tight and didnt have any problems. as for the brake upgrade, very common! here's a easy kit to do it. http://www.wbodystore.com/grandprix/w-body-store-13-inch-dual-piston-brake-kit-now-includes-lines-p-228.html
carpesignum
so can i pull the breaks off a v8 car or does it have to/ should be off a 6cyl?
Andrew
doesnt matter if its a v6 or v8 f-body. dont get j/y crap. brakes are not where you want to skimp on money. i would just go get reman calipers w/brackets, rotors, and pads from where ever you buy parts from. there are a couple little things like a spacer or bolts or something you have to get as well. search on clubgp, they have alot more info on this. carpesignum
one last question. should i have to detach the tie rod ends to get the new sway bar back on? i pulled the old one out and fished the new one in but when i was done i found both ends were above my tie rods and i cant seem to get them around. only thing i can think of is removing the nut and moving the tie rods which is something i have never done before. carpesignum
yup... pretty sure i just broke a tie rod end... its just free spinning up around the bushing. o well il pick up a set of shocks and do them before i get an alignment...
