celebrityfest Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 i recently got the head gaskets done. i replaced all gaskets intake, excaust, value cover, and head(the whole kit) after about 2000 miles recently the car idles at about 1500 instead 900 rpm. today i started the car and put it in reverse and it cuts off. i dont know since the power steering line is gone(which im about to fix) so anyways i restarted the car and it cuts off again. so im trying to figure out what could be the problem before i start wrenching and unscrewing.
