I think flow is good. when I pull a line loose with the car idling... is makes pissing like a race horse look weak!

it's good to know that the venture pcm is programed that way! does the venture pcm stay in hot mode once attained, or will it return to normal mode once cooled sufficiently?

I'll take the A body TC under advisement... but the way the car would be driven would be better suited for a lower stall speed TC, IMO.

It'll help your "city" fuel economy a little, but I guess if you don't mind the loss in "pep" I guess it doesn't matter.

I don't know when the PCM will come out of "hot" mode. I can't view the temperature settings, but maybe the manual will say what is considered "overheating"

Try disconnecting the radiator trans cooler return line, see how much it pours out. I don't question the condition of the trans fluid pump since the trans is otherwise working alright.
