So, when I accelerate, I can hear a knock once the engine moves as well as letting off the gas, I can hear a knock. AFAIK the LQ1 has 3 motor mounts, I know I need the one under the hood replaced, but how will I know which lower mount is making the racket? Can anyone help out here? Thanks

There are 3 engine mounts and 1 transmission mount. With the miles on your car I would just replace them all. It's too bad you got your transmission replaced since it would've been a perfect time to do them then.

It's probably the lower motor mount, but like he said, now would be a good time to replace all of them... They're getting older anyway, and it'll save you some headaches on down the road...

more then likely the front lower engine mount is failed, I believe it is the only fluid filled one on the car so that makes it a prime candidate for failure. personally I would go with a solid rubber one in place of it, thats what I did and I haven't looked back.

I've had plenty of bad "mounts."

I would get a fluid filled one unless you plan on seeing the car hit 500k. It won't go bad while you own the car. I agree with that that's probably the one bad.
