raymire59
Will the FSTB on any 3.4 clear the reservoir on a Z-34 5-speed? If more than 1 option, which is best?
Q-Ball
Yes, there was just a post on this. It will clear, but if you need to add fluid you need to take the 3.4 FSTB off. It's not a big deal. I'll find the thread with links. Here is the thread. http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php?topic=69116.msg913973#msg913973 Gah, the photobucket pic was moved it said. But you can believe us.
raymire59
Thanks for the response. I was wondering if there was a factory bar that didn't need to be removed to service reservoir. What's the difference between a "standard" bar & a "vert" bar?
Andrew
there is no standard bar. the only factory FSTB is on the cutlass verts. the bar i had that wouldnt fit was a aftermarket bar by Held. a vert bar will fit just barely on 5-speeds. 1990lumina
You shouldn't have to get in to the reseviour very often if everything is functioning as it should in your clutch hydralics.
