AL
I honestly have no idea what is on the plugs and wires... Also when I was changing out the plugs and wires I heard a splash when I put my spark plug socket into the cylinder.
Addicted To Boost
Does the motor have good compression?
AL
I have no idea... How do I check for that?
Addicted To Boost
Remove spark plug. Install compression tester. Crank engine over and check pressure reading. Check compression on each cylinder. Edit: Is the bottom side of the plug wet too, or just the top side?
1990lumina
Could be a leaking valve cover gasket causing that shit.
AL
I forgot to add that ALL of the plugs and wires look like that... Almost all of them were dripping something when I took them out but I couldnt tell by the smell what it was...
Addicted To Boost
Do they smell sweet?
AL
I dont remember... They didnt really have a smell...
slick
Most likely just water and dirt. The plug wires are NOT water tight into the vavle covers on the 3.4.
jake63
The electrodes look fine it's water from outside most likely. Problem is it probably went into cylinders when you removed plugs.
1990lumina
I'm sure it'll be fine.
AL
With new plugs/wires in it, it wont even start now... With the old plugs, I got it to at least run... Sigh, I just wanna drive the thing...
slick
Did you gap them properly? Did you run the wires to the right cylinder?
AL
I got gapless ones and I did each wire one by one to make sure I didnt mix them up... Does anyone know what order they are down below? And I will go back and double check.
slick
Gapless or not, ALWAYS double check.

GOT2B GM
Buy regular AC delco plugs. You may have a leaking cam carrier gasket. Or someone missed the oil fill hole when refilling the oil.
AL
I will pick up some rapid fires tomorrow and put them in and see whats up... I will make sure to gap them also... I am going out now to check the wires
5speedz34
Ya those plugs don't work on our ignition systems.
AL
I popped the hood and looked down and saw two of the wires unplugged... So that could be some of the problem... I decided to go into town and pick up some delcos
AL
Got some rapidfires and gapped them to spec. Still wont start... I might try some starting fluid in the next couple of days... I dont understand how it will start one day and not the next even with new parts. The MAF sensor was unplugged before and I plugged it in, that shouldnt have anything to do with it tho right? 5speedz34
Your car shouldn't have a MAF.
