possible bad oil pump drive seal

I have a 94 Z34 with approx. 85,000 miles on it. It's been leaking oil lately and it's been leaking significantly more. I am adding a quart about every week or so. Doing a quick inspection it appeared to be leaking from the rear, so I figure it was the rear main seal. Upon doing some reading on message boards, I hear that it possibly may be the oil pump drive seal. What all is involved to do this procedure and what is everyone else's experiences on this procedure.
