Captain Ficho
This is for my 90 Cutlass International, with the 3.1L... the car was previously owned by an old man and has really low miles. Just over 70,000 and it sat for 10 months before I bought it. Well I dropped in a new battery and it started right up like a brand new car, on the drive home I learned the power steering had issues, the alternator was toast and it liked to stall when stopped at red lights. Well, fast forward to today, about a month after buying the car, I put a new alternator on and replaced the PS pump seal. Everything is kosher now but it still occasionally likes to stall at red lights, it always starts up after. If I put the car into neutral right before I stop, it never stalls. If I leave it in drive, it's about 50/50. Alll I've done so far is change fluids, new battery, new alternator and new P/S pump seal.

Captain Ficho
I did a relearn when I first got the car, still stalling out. I'm out of town now but when I get back I'll check out the IAC.
