sup yall i got a regal parts car with steering wheel radio controls and i wanted to know how hard is it to do the swap? thnx

i dont have to rip apart the entire dash/steering column do i?

Are you capable of dismantling/reassembling the steering column?

 

ok. that should be doable.

 

the steering wheel, the turn signal switch, the horn ring, the funny little module must all be transplanted fromt he parts car to yours. If both have the same type of shifter, you could physically swap the column.

 

 

but I am getting ahead of myself. you will need to determine if your car is wired within the dash harness for SWRC controls.

 

there is a column wiring to dash wiring block connector. you will need to analyze the donor and your car's block connector to determine the four wires present only on the SWRC car. they should be in a row on one of the outer connector segments. Next, unbolt the connector (usually 7mm or 8mm) and see if the wires that are on the dash harness of the SWRC car are present in the dash harness of your car.
