Normal Oil pressure for L27

Just for safety's sake, i'm curious to know what the typical operating oil pressure for the 3.8 is. My oil pressure gauge is twitchy but accurate. GM seems to have had a problem with these, my '86 Fiero GT had an oil pressure gauge that would go nuts, you'd have to smack the top of the pod to make it go back.

Anyways, it's reading i'd imagine 37-39 at warm idle, and 40-45 under hard acceleration. Is that about right? I know the 3.8's spin bearing when they get low oil pressure, can't afford a new motor right now.

(Though a blown series 2 will come eventually.)

It definitely doesn't sound too low to me, but I'm no expert on the 3800...
