89GP_SE Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Well the fuel pump in my car is dead, I was wondering if it would be possible to install an inline fuel pump somewhere on the fuel rail instead of pulling out the one in the tank? Quote
Andrew Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 no matter what you will have to pull the tank, so might as well replace the one in there and keep things simple. Quote

The stock pump in place not running will cause such a huge ass restriction, you wouldnt have enough fuel to run the car and the inline pump would quickly burn up.., Dropping the tank shoudl only take about 20 minutes. All in all, changine the pump is easily done in about an hour Quote
