Shouldn't be bad at all considering the car is OBD 1.5 and that uses many of the same sensors and such as OBD 2.

Get wiring diagrams for your car and the donor car for sure.

getting a different j/y motor or not? get the complete engine wiring harness and the PCM, maybe the tranny if it is different (probably different due to gear ratio)

or if you just want to go OBDII... with a 3.4 dohc... good luck! DOHC v6 did it.

ok. get EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING.

you need the engine, the transmission, all attached wiring and sensors. maybe the cv shafts too?

external of those areas...

you need to add the second O2 in the pipe behind the cat (or a dummy bypass resistor or reprogram or delete code)

there will be some sort of fuel tank/system pressure sensor. (add sensor or reprogram the PCM to delete code)

you will have to add a few wires in the dash for things to work, plus the OBDII aldl scanner connector.

since you seem to have a FULL car to part, I would grab EVERYTHING including the ENTIRE car wiring harness, including the underdash harness and the wiring added to run to the fuel pressure sensor.
