soccrplayrgtp
Ok the motor is in and wiring is coming along. There is an electrical connecter from the power steering pump that I think is for speed sensitive steering that was not on my 3100. There is another electrical connecter that looks like it goes to the steering rack and pinion, but my 3100 pinion doesnt have that connecter. If I leave the connecter off will my power steering still function normally? Will I have the speed assist? Thanks everyone, looking forward to driving my perf. rebuilt DOHC! TGPilot
I know on the TGP there is a sensor on the steering rack that sends a signal to the ECM to increase the idle slightly when the steering is moved to assist with low speed steering. As far as your application...I am clueless... 8)

Sailor77
I can tell you this. when I swapped the 3.4 for the L67 my cutlass had that connector on the rack. the L67 did not. So, I did not connect anything to it and it works just fine.
