dodgethis
Hey guys I have a 98 lumina with 65,000 miles. The cars runs fine once i leave the garage. My main question is when the car is "inside" a building or say in my garage I can crank it up in no time. Its only when i drive outside to school or work that when i start to leave in the day time i have to crank it for more than 10 sec. I figure thats hard on the starter. I usually have to tap the gas for it to start right on the fly like i could if i were in the garage. Would that be a TPS thing? or maybe something going bad? What ya'll think? rockfangd
start with changing your fuel pump relay because when it goes bad the fuel pump will run off of the oil pressure sending unit once oil pressure is found
rockfangd
my 84 cutlass used to do the same thing and that was the problem
dodgethis
Thanks for the thought, the fuel pump relay, stupid question but thats the fuse your referring to right? I know you dont mean the actually fuel pump. In case I am wrong about it being the fuse, where would i find it at?
