mfewtrail
Well ,I guess no news is bad news? Joel Wells doesn't sell the gasket either, just the EGR with it already installed. I found a good egr in the junkyard to use, so I threw it on there for the time being.
Red95GP
Did that gasket material stuff work? I think I need to make my own gasket also. My EGR has a small leak and I think its from that top gasket.

My EGR has a small leak and I think its from that top gasket. As I stated in my last post above, I found a good EGR in a junkyard with significantly less miles than my original one to install. I tested the solenoids at the junkyard + sprayed carb cleaner in it to confirm that it was sealing properly. The only concern I have about using the gasket material is the way that the original gasket is made. It has round metal rings on it to seal around the pintles if I remember correctly. Spreading high temp rtv over the original gasket and reinstalling it will probably seal everything up fine. Those metal rings I mentioned are what actually seal around the pintles anyway.
