Canada
Its been covered about a billion times............while Dex-Cool may not be the 'perfect' coolant.....it isn't the fault of cooling system leaks. Poorly designed gaskets and seals are.
89SupremeCutty
i didn't read the link but is it about when they were letting the mice into the dexcool at the factory and the dexcool looking purple and smelling like rotting animals? 89SupremeCutty
no one's ever heard of that? i guess a couple years back some mice were getting into the dexcool as they were putting it into the engines at the factory. when i worked for an auto shop my manager told me this cause he had come acrossed it a couple times with new gm vehicles with dexcool having a purple color and smelling of dead animals. and he learned that it was mice getting in. im gonna really search the net to see if i can't find anything on this. Timm
GM will send cash reimbursements to class members who paid for Covered Repairs performed within seven years or 150,000 miles (whichever is earlier) after the original owner or lessee took delivery of the vehicle, and who submit timely and valid claims. Can anyone decipher this legal crap? I'm pretty sure I'm not eligible to have my $80 repair payed for... (1996 regal, 192,000miles. DIY job.) (Even though I do still have my autozone receipts.)
