How do i install it? there looks to be absolutly no room i guess i havent lookd from underneath yet but help is appreciated. If i add a jet chip, 160 thermo, 2.5" exhaust through a highflow cat and either dynomax or flowmaster mufflers, cold air intake, msd ignition 8mm wires and some nice plugs(undecided) any guesses on what my hp and tq would increase too? Jet Chip - dont waste your money, i have one and it makes no diff. MSD - doesnt help performance, it really only gives you a better idle and smoother revs, will not add HP. Intake and exhaust, maybe 20 at the VERY most. 160 thermo - doesnt increas performance at all, just runs a little cooler. plugs and wires - help a little, but kinda the same concept as the MSD, just delivers a cleaner spark, maybe a little hp gain, but nothing noticeable. underdrive pulley is your best bet - to install, you pull your right front wheel, remove the fender well, and install, you will need a pulley puller to get the old one off, and then you slip the new one on and the bolt will push it all the way on, then put your belt back on and your set. - Justin Quote

Dannymik Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 I know the underdrive pulley is an upgrade...what does your car idle at after the installation? My bro-in-law did that in his Mustang and he said that his idles lower at stop lights! Also I hope the underdrive pulley doesn't make the car drive hotter. Quote

I want it to go faster just like im sure everyone else here does. i cant order the chip from that one site u guys always send me too cuz i have a 94. the jetchip supposedly doesnt help. Intake Exhaust and UD pulley are the only mods that i can do to this car to make it faster? Besides of course spending outragous amounts of money on a turbo or nitrous. now i know ignition doesnt add hp but it allows for better use of it or something to that effect am i right? So if i do those three basic mods i listed above im pretty much done then or what? Quote
