jmatt07
i just bought this grand prix with an engine problem. i cant figure out what it is. when you try to start it, it doesnt want to start you have to give it gas to keep it running. once you get it started it wont idle on its own until the check engine light comes on and then will idle but the will randomely shut off. i cant figure out what it is. i put new coils on, got the ignition module tested, check the plugs and wires, checked fuel pressre, checked the iac, and cleaned all the grounds. im just out of ideas. i was wonderin if anyone else had this happened or if anyone has any ideas before i have to take it to a shop. thanks... EviLette
3.1 in a 95? Sounds like GM really does like to screw us and confuse us.

But when you go to a parts store and they ask if it's a 3.1 or 3.4 and you say 3100 and they roll there eye's and type in 3.1 it gets old lol.
