Who made your HUD Specific Windshield???

A VERY GOOD QUESTION.... WHO MADE THE FACTORY HUD WINDSHIELDS?

 

ORIGINAL WINDOW:

if you have a factory HUD and original HUD Windshield... CHECK FOR ME PLEASE?

 

Also, most HUD equipped cars have a sticker in the lower center indicating that the window is for a HUD car.

 

this info is what i am looking for above.

 

 

REPLACEMENT WINDOW:

Perhaps your window is replaced.... (please post this as a response in the thread, not the POLL): If you replaced a HUD window... and the replacement was a HUD window... Who made it?

 

 

It would also be nice to know the year/make/model of all entrants!

I'm 99% sure the one in my Bonneville was PPG. Possibly LOF. I think I have a picture somewhere.

here's mine, 91 Cutlass International. I don't know if it's original, but I do know every body panel on the car is. It's obviousoly never been in a wreck, but that doesn't mean the winshield hasn't been replaced. I could not see any HUD sticker anywhere at all. Sorry about the tiny pic, I thought my phone was set to 2mp till I transfered the pic.

Both my TGP's have PPG windows with no HUD labels.

 

Here's the info from the PPG label as it appears:

Fwiw, my '93 GP that didn't come with a HUD has a LOF windshield(original).

My car's factory HUD windshield had a sticker on it that said "H.U.D." The Glass Doctors (who fixed my panes) replaced it with one w/o the sticker (though they asked if it was a HUD car.)

I THINK mine is PPG. It does have a sticker.

mine doesn't have a decal and i don't know if it is original or not but it is LOF i have a 90 tgp with hud

I think my TGP's windshield is a PPG. I am not going 1800 miles to go look lol.
