Exhaust System / Mufflers

I know this issue has been beat to death but the GTP I just bought has the original mufflers and theyre burned out, and sound a little louder than a factory exhaust should.

 

What aftermarket stuff sounds good? I don't want to use Flowmaster 40's as they are waaaay too loud for me. Whatta Magnaflows sound like on a 3.4? I HATE Dynomax, so thats out of the question. Anyone had experience with Borla's? Im looking for something not much louder than a factory system, as the pirelli's I have on there already make enough noise on the highway, and I don't want to have it any louder than it already is.

 

I've been lookin at Flowmaster 60's. My friends has em on his 92 SHO and they sound good, very smooth and not too loud. I am putting in a new factory style cat, because I don't believe in high flows.

 

What are the exhaust pipe sizes on the car??? the main pipe after the Y and after it splits? I don't want to go bigger cuz the car already has no low-end torque. Any help would be appreciated.

my 3.4 sounds excellent with thrush super turbo on it. the flowmaster stuff was WAY too loud and sounded like ass so i took it off

What side of edmonton you on? i am on south millwoods, i was looking around for a tgp, couldn't find one though, how'd you manage to get your hands on one?

Hey man, I live in Milwoods too. My car is just a GTP, not a turbo. Still lots of fun tho. Bought my car just outside of Gibbons.

Ha thats funny, my house backs onto the intersection of millwoods rd and 34 ave. My cars white, so if you hear a honk, look for me.
