j_mezz Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 BTW, I failed computer art, but this is basically the look I'm looking for... Quote
ManicMechanic Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 And they likely WILL NOT fit the rear of a 1994+ even if they fit a 1988. Quote

j_mezz Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 Yeah, I committed a giraffe gaffe... was waiting for someone to notice that... I kinda like the look of them but that's not exactly what they'd look like. I stole those wheels off a 72 442 I found on the web. Those are SSII Wheels - I'd have to settle for a more flat looking, later model, 14" rim. Might have to lower the car to reduce the wheel gap too. If I get that far I'll be asking about springs later in this thread! I've got a 72 cutlass and have always loved the way those wheels look, I'm kind-of used to seeing them. Go ahead and bash away if you don't like them. It was just an idea I had, paintbrushed together when I was board at work, and decided it looked better than I thought it would. also, I wouldn't do it to my vert, I'd do it to my DD coupe (1992) - also Red. I just paintbrushed that car because the picture was taken at the right angle. Quote
Euro Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Too bad those wouldn't fit, they look kinda cool Quote
