mdelorie Posted August 15, 2003 Report Share Posted August 15, 2003 similar, kinda, not really, almost related issue: my engine sits in the bay (DUH, where else would it sit?) anyways... when you look at the dog bone torque struts, they both seem to angle out from the front of the engine bay and to the left, as if the passenger side of the engine was sitting low... sign of a worn out mount? I tried to take a look for it from underneath, but hell, I can't even SEE the motor mount. any ideas / suggestions? I guess a 2x4 under the oil pan and a jack should raise the engine enough. D M N Posted September 15, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2003 sorry i didnt know what i was talking about ok well i took it back to the mechanic and they told me that the catalytic converter was messed up and the element it side it was causing that scraping sound and the frame wasnt scraping it was just worn spring also my exhaust sound "meaner" its the OEM exhaust too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
