Probably not your problem. When you turn the wheel sitting still the ps has to work to turn the wheels when you're not moving. Since it's an engine accesory it bogs it down a little. With your LQ1 running unsteadily, that bog probably was too much for a sick LQ1 to handle :frown: Good luck.

i know this sounds like a dumb question but can an accessory belt cause problems like mine? i hope its not the cat again, nobody out here will do a cat delete even though i dont have emissions anymore.

There are exhaust shops (or speed shops) that will do a cat delete and write it off as "off-road use only". Not the easiest to find though. When was the cat replaced and with what?

ive tried basically everywhere around here they all said its illegal to do and they wont do it. i had it replaced about 5 months ago wit a OEM cat.

Dumb question...was it new or used?

well get a spark plug tester and check each coil pack to see if it is getting strong spark, no spark, or weak spark. Usually a weak spark will be orange and a strong spark will be blue

I had a int. modual test one time and they said it was good and then I talk to a GM tech and he said that they can can test good but are bad. So I took his advice and changed it and he was right. The point is if your going to take it off to have it tested just save youself alot of trouble and just put on a new one.

another dumb questions is 93 octane to high to use in the 3.4?

Should be fine, a 10:1 CR is high enough to warrant mid-grade or premium but I run 87 octane with no problems.
