Timm
I have my stock radio in; I absolutely hate it other than the stock look and better sound. The CD skips if you barely touch the dash, and it doesn't have MP3 compatibility... Anyway, my radio has okay reception most of the time, but once I turn either my parking / head lamps on, only 1 or 2 stations come in! Also, I have my new alternator (I thought my bad alt. was causing the trouble). I also have a broken power antenna (broken due to ice. ) Any Ideas?? 89SupremeCutty
the broken antenna would do it. get it fixed and you will be able to get more stations.
Timm
Would a fixed antenna fit in there? I really don't wanna pay for a power antenna replacement.
Addicted2bass
Yea a universal mast antenna should fit in there.
slick
Definately get a new antenna, should solve your issues. The broken antenna line is picking up all of the interference from the wiring in the vehicle. The stock line is actually ran along side several harnesses in the vehicle.
