1995 4T60-E. Delayed shift in to second and third and speedo jumpy. The speedo will jump to 50 MPH wil I'm doing a steady 25 MPH. It will go to 4000 RPMs and stay there then finally shit. Not sure if I have 3rd or 4th gear.

VSS?

Chris - you are a great man. :D

But she needed it done yesterday. THat's what it was, so far. She drove it all day and said the speedo was steady and it shifted fine.

Part was $44.90 at autozone...It was too hateful, just one bolt. I'm sure it will be a bit more difficult on a TGP. Perhaps removing the alternator will help a lot.

oh? I thought it was more on the drivers side of the car... I have to see where it is located first, the pictures in the haynes book don't help too much...

it's on the pass side on the tailshaft as far as I know, like the 4T60-E, I'm sure someone that knows for sure can chime in here.

check the wiring, I had a issue in my car after I wrecked it, the wiring got damaged then in short time corrosion got to it and really ruined my day

I drove it...The speedo will work for about 20 seconds and then it just dies...It's worse than before.

She says that in the mornings, it's slow to go in to gear...Like a 3-4 second delay and it will slowly start to go...

Ran down to the one open yard and got a computer (after they said they didn't have one, I said let me look and I found 6) and so far, we have all 4 gears, steady speedo (no, not that kind Buck & Travis, LOL!).
