gmrulz4u Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 First of all, on my 89 Supreme 2.8L, how many Motor Mounts are there?? Besides the two dogbones/torque struts?? Also, how do I go about checking the mounts? Do I just try rocking the motor with the car in Park?? THANKS GUYS! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 10, 2003 Report Posted August 10, 2003 There are two under the car. One under the tranny and one on the passenger side of the motor in front of the oil pan. If you can get under the car and get a good look at them, see if they are wet. The mounts are hydraulic and when they go bad the fluid leaks out of them. Quote
