Niteshade question.

As we all know the 1st gen grid taillights on the GPs have a bad habit of delaminating.

So would you still be able to see the messed up areas on the grid after spraying them with the niteshades?

I'm temped to do this on my kids car, so it can look better without having to replace the lamps.

Opinions, pictures, and comments are welcome.

Do you know if they were in bad shape before they were sprayed?

he niteshaded plain tails (no checker pattern) from an older base GP.

I don't know how well Niteshades would hide the bubbles, but I did have an idea once about using a small sharp tool to lift up on the black checkered framework where there is a bubble, then injecting it with clear windshield repair epoxy using a syringe. It might not work, but I was thinking about trying it... if I ever get around to it (probably never).
