1tinindian Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 As we all know the 1st gen grid taillights on the GPs have a bad habit of delaminating. So would you still be able to see the messed up areas on the grid after spraying them with the niteshades? I'm temped to do this on my kids car, so it can look better without having to replace the lamps. Opinions, pictures, and comments are welcome. Leon Quote
1tinindian Posted August 18, 2008 Author Report Posted August 18, 2008 That looks good. Do you know if they were in bad shape before they were sprayed? Quote
GOT2B GM Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 he niteshaded plain tails (no checker pattern) from an older base GP. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I don't know how well Niteshades would hide the bubbles, but I did have an idea once about using a small sharp tool to lift up on the black checkered framework where there is a bubble, then injecting it with clear windshield repair epoxy using a syringe. It might not work, but I was thinking about trying it... if I ever get around to it (probably never). Quote
AWeb80 Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 mine delaminated a tad....the niteshade covered it up mostly Quote
