dbtk2
Dynoed my car a few days ago at ZZP (mustang dyno). Made 5 pulls in all. All pulls were on 93 octane with a 2.7" SC pulley. First pull was 331whp, power increased every pull. I started out with ~18* of timing. AFR was perfect to begin with so I didn't need to mess with that at all (averaged 12.1 for the pull). Made another pull with 0 changes just to make sure everything was all good, made 332whp. I added some timing in the upper rpms (1-2* depending on rpm) and actually pulled some out (1-3* depending) in the lower rpms and picked up power everywhere, power went to 338whp. I then dropped my catback (stock 2.25" catback) and power went to 344whp with no other changes. Then I added another degree of timing for 5200rpm and up, and power went to 347whp/417wtq SAE which ended up being my best pull. Being a Mustang Dyno and a Gen 3 M90 setup I'm pretty happy with those numbers, especially on pump gas. I was still getting no KR at all on my last pull (not even a blip or anything), so based on that I figure I probably could've added AT LEAST another 2* of timing without any issues, and based on gains before it looks like that would've netted me another 6-7whp or so. Ran out of time otherwise I would've made more pulls to see what i could get out of it. With race gas I should be able to drop to a 2.55 pulley (~12psi instead of ~10psi with the 2.7) and turn timing to 25* or so, and probably pick up another 15-20whp. I figure those numbers are good enough for a 11.6-11.7 ET at my race weight with a good 60'.

5speedz34
Very nice. The more and more I think about it, I would like a L67 car since they're fun to mod. My question to you Shawn, do you wish it was RWD? Or do you wish you had that power in RWD?!
AxlCrucifix
sweet numbers man! sorry, I just hasd to quote this since your picture and little tag line under it made me rofl. I love that song! and the 07 Grand Prix's are going for like 16000 at a local dealer in town since they wanna get 'em off the lot If I wasn't a poor 18 year old university student, I'd definately buy one. dbtk2
Very nice. The more and more I think about it, I would like a L67 car since they're fun to mod. My question to you Shawn, do you wish it was RWD? Or do you wish you had that power in RWD?! My car in RWD would be shitty. I'd love to have another car with a better overall platform in RWD with this much or more power, but I like this car just the way it is. Being FWD is just part of the whole character. Its kind of hard to explain really. In all honesty, I plan on picking up a 6 speed C5 as my next toy...but it will likely be a year or maybe a little more before that happens. p.s what the heck ever happened to me buying your tste? Sorry I never got back to you on that, the car was sold. and the 07 Grand Prix's are going for like 16000 at a local dealer in town since they wanna get 'em off the lotIf I wasn't a poor 18 year old university student, I'd definately buy one. Why not pick up a 97-03 that you can afford and mod that? You can find 97's pretty damn cheap these days. I see them going for between $1-2k quite often. For $5k total you can be going 12's or better pretty easily.
5speedz34
See the thing is I would love to get a GP and mod it, but then I think about it and I would almost want that power in RWD. Chances are my next car will be a L67'ed car.
