Parts year 1. lower 3400 intake 2000 + 2. upper 3500 intake 2000 + 3. head assembly including push rods , lifters, rockers , cam 3500 2000+ 4. 3100 block 2000+ with a 2.8 crank with the correct height pistons to fit stroke & tq. bore & honed .030 over 5. zero deck the block and shave the heads .020 so you "HAVE A CLEAN SURFACE TO TO WORK WITH" but still use a head gasket of .060 compressed 6. stock 3500 exhaust manifolds wraped along with crossover down to the converter 7. high vol 20 % high psi oil pump I don't think I left any thing out did I ? also I would like to start this really soon or this fall since fall really close! Brian P Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 #1 the 3500 heads aren't good for the 3100 block since the combustion chamber hangs out past the fire ring on the head gaskets. = No Go. #2 the 3400 lower intake will NOT bolt up to the 3500 heads = No go.
