Addicted To Boost
Are those hood scoops functional, or just for looks?
92 GP
as most know, they ARE functional. i didn't just pay MAACO to put them on for me and paint it and they not be functional They're open up front and in the back, so on the top of that nice 3.1 flat intake, it'll drop highway temps pretty nicely

92 GP
yea i bought the longest scoops i could find on ebay about... 4 years ago? ish? maybe 3. It's when the '92 was in the shop........ And yea i was kinda pissed, i did this the other night, i had to stay overnight for firestone while they were painting the bays and shit. I did this, got about 20 feet out of the bay and hit a speedbump. Goddamnit! And there's still wheel gap...not much, like at all, but it's still there And thanks for the compliments! the day i got the scoops a LOT of work later (this was a PITA, but well worth it)

AWeb80
nice gonna hang the stock hood on the wall for decor? I would
92 GP
it's in my room...between the window and the closet. Fits perfect right there. On the other side of the window is the PONTIAC flag
mfewtrail
Do you still have the other car that the hood was on to begin with? Also, is your TGP lowered or not? My valence(s) sit pretty damn low to the ground without being lowered. I have to avoid certain places with my stock ride height cars and park a few lots over sometimes. Here in the city(mainly the downtown area) there are a lot of old dipped in driveways that will rip a TGP valence off.
92 GP
Yea my valence is like not even 2'' off the ground, and i have 1/4'' of wheel gap and i most definitely still have the '92........
Euro
Wow you really dont want to have a lower valance do you? LOL !!!! That's the first thing I told him too

RareGMFan
gonna hang the stock hood on the wall for decor? Or put it back on the car. No offense, but that hood doesn't match the body lines of the TGP in any way, shape or form. On its own, it's a nice looking hood. Just not on that car.
