luminal67 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 They are from the police Luminas, 1998 I think. I though they were cool, so i picked them up. I havent gotten around to cleaning them yet. Quote
Brian P Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 GRRRR!!!!!!!! Been trying to find a set in good shape for a while!! (it'd match my interior color more or less) Quote
White93z34 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 those things just look plain out uncomfortable Quote
Cully77 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 cool, I'd like to see them when you put em in Quote

intern8tion9l Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 those things just look plain out uncomfortable x3 Quote
luminal67 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Report Posted August 6, 2008 I can't say how uncomfortable they are yet. I don't imagine it's too bad if cops have to sit in them all day. I'll put them in as soon as I clean them up a little. I still need a center console and shit so I have an armrest when I drive. The car also has a digital certified cluster. Are hose worth anything to anyone? Quote
luminal67 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Report Posted August 6, 2008 Oh, and do the Luminas with a center console have studs to mount it to? I was wondering how I am going to mount one when I find one. Quote
Cully77 Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 The car also has a digital certified cluster. Are hose worth anything to anyone? ooo i'm interested!, as long as it is from a 98 or 99 Quote
luminal67 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Report Posted August 6, 2008 It was a 98-99. I didn't grab the cluster because I had to borrow $$$$ to get the seats. lol Damn I guess I should have grabbed it. It also had the 98-99 3800 engine harness too. Quote
jeremy Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 It also had the 98-99 3800 engine harness too. a member here is offerring a precent decent amt of $ for one of those Quote

BXX Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Yeah, ismellrealbad needs that 3800 harness completely intact and not damaged Quote
rockfangd Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 those things just look plain out uncomfortable I agree. They do look uncomfortable. they remind me of the seats i had in my old sunbird Quote
ManicMechanic Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 They are quite comfortable to me. My Isuzu had identical black Recaros and I was very comfortable while driving the car to California. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 I've heard of people mention Recaros for many years, but I never knew anything about them. Other than the fancy Italian-sounding name, what's so special about Recaros, and why did police Luminas get them? They look kind of plain and utilitarian. Quote
intern8tion9l Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 those look plain, but recaro is pretty big time otherwise Quote
supreme_style21 Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 those things just look plain out uncomfortable I remember driving a Lumina years ago with those seats and I hated them.. I thought they were really flat, hard and really too uncomfortable. To each their own though Quote

I've never sat in these personally but they look somewhat convertible. Quote
