Cold Air Intake on my GTP

1 X stright 12 inch, 3inch pipe

1 X 45 degres, 3inch pipe

1 X 90degres, 3inch pipe

5 X 3inch rubberjouin

 

Removing the old stuff

I had cut a little pieces of metal on my fender to pass my pipe

and the final result with batery, I know .. I must change a pole wire to turn my batery 180degres because my Positive is near of my CAI... I but a rubberjouin and polecover for this time ...

I had rebuilt my tranny last 3 month, but it's very rare I make this burn .... 350$ each tires .. humm .. and I'm very nice with the oder car it's not mine ... I know the reparation price ...

Just with my cars, I make all my reparations...

It's a good way to try and break axles though :D

 

they was brand news each (rebuilt with some HD goddies), Drag racer take this axel with 500hp +.. with my little 210hp .. I'm not affraid to hurt my axels :)

Actually, I've done the same and worse to my completely stock 18 year old axles (on MY 5 speed GP).

 

I HAVE broken a bunch on my other cars doing similar stuff though............ :wink:

to make this burn I clutch only at 3000rpm.. when the gear is 'ready' I put the gas ...

 

It's a dynomax super turbo, yes .. if I remember it's $150 CAN each .. last 4years ...

What is that black dome thing? I took mine out when I was installing my CAI, the hose going to it was broken everywhere and I figured it wasn't too important.
