DavidHowell3633
I hope someone benefits from this admission- but, when putting your driver's side electric fan on the radiator, the bottom of the fan has a slot for insertion of the metal tang at the base of the radiator support. I placed the fan inside this metal tang so the tang was on the outside of the fan and bolted it in just fine. The fan hand spun without noise or interference. Being my son's car and his stereo blasting, I doubt he heard any scraping noises. But, he did noticed the car overheating. When I poured coolant in it ran right out where the fan's edge had rubbed through the aluminum cooling tubes. David
