unclehotte
Hi. About 3 years ago I had a leak in the AC in my Buick 93 that it was totally empty. I filled it with the ready to go mix from the store and it was back to 100%. Now, 3 years later the leak got big enough I had to take the car to the shop .They changed some seals and recharged the system with 134a. (Which I had in myself before) PROBLEM: AC works...but not as cold as it was before. I checked the charge and the pressure level seems ok. Are there different qualitys of 134??? Or what did they do wrong I dont know about???
1990lumina
Make sure your condensor isn't all smashed up in the front and that it isn't plugged with dirt and leaves and stuff. Also make sure that one of your rad fans comes on wit hthe A/C (to pull air through the condensor). Does the air blow cooler when driving on the highway? unclehotte
yes, it does. As soon as I get more speed it starts to cool better. Will check that fan today.

Schurkey
Air in the system? Too much oil in the system? Incorrect quantity of refrigerant? Air doors not working properly--A/C works but air is being re-heated by heater core?
