Regal_GS_1989
Alright, this has me completely baffled. What happens is this. When I use my car in the morning, the stereo works fine, except that the sound coming out of the rear speakers sounds like it is being fed through a high-pass filter(there is only treble). If it is a hot sunny day out, when I come out to my car after work, then usually both rear speakers work properly. As it starts to cool off outside, then one rear speaker continues to work properly, while the other one sounds like it is through a high pass again. Let it sit over night, and it all starts over again. I haven't tried hooking up different speakers yet, but i'm positive that the ones in the car aren't blown. I have tons of experience with blown speakers and these definately aren't. This is on the Regal I just bought. Its a 2000 and has the standard Concert sound II system with CD and Cassette. Other then this issue, everything else works correctly.
Crazy K
Does it have dual voice rear speakers, with two sets of wires going to each speaker? or dual voice speakers that share one set of wires going to the speaker? or...?
Regal_GS_1989
There is only one set of wires going to the rear speakers. I never thought about them being dual voice coils that share a set of wires. I'm gonna have to just pull them out and take a look.
